Rose hips, the fruit of the rose plant that remains after the flowers bloom and drop their petals, are a rich source of vitamin C, antioxidants, and other beneficial nutrients. When used to make tea, rose hips offer a tart, tangy flavor reminiscent of cranberries, and their tea is often appreciated for both its taste and health benefits.

Drinking rose hip tea can provide a range of health advantages, including boosting the immune system due to its high vitamin C content. This can help in preventing and fighting off colds and infections. Rose hips have anti-inflammatory properties, which can be beneficial for reducing pain and symptoms associated with conditions like arthritis. Their antioxidant content helps in combating oxidative stress and may promote healthier skin, reduce signs of aging, and improve cardiovascular health.

Rose hip tea is also known for its ability to aid digestion and promote kidney health, thanks to its diuretic properties that help flush toxins from the body. Furthermore, the pectin content in rose hips can be soothing for the digestive system, helping to relieve constipation and other digestive issues.

Naturally caffeine-free, rose hip tea is a wholesome and revitalizing choice at any time of the day, offering both delightful flavor and numerous health benefits.

Flower Loose Leaf Teas

*Water Temperature: 190-205°F (88-96°C)
*Amount of Tea: 1-2 teaspoons per 8 ounces (240 ml) of water
*Steeping Time: 5-10 minutes
*Notes: Flower teas, such as chamomile or hibiscus, often benefit from longer steeping times to fully release their flavors and aromas.

Green Loose Leaf Teas

*Water Temperature: 175-185°F (80-85°C)
*Amount of Tea: 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces (240 ml) of water
*Steeping Time: 2-3 minutes
*Notes: Green teas are sensitive to high temperatures and over-steeping, which can produce a bitter taste. Adjust steeping time according to personal preference for strength.

Black Loose Leaf Teas

*Water Temperature: 200-212°F (93-100°C)
*Amount of Tea: 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces (240 ml) of water
